Finally able to book out on a Friday after 2 weeks of straight firings. Just passed my driving of my Ultra M113 and recovered from fever due to washing of vehicle. It's wierd, I had 38 degrees on Thursday night and it became 35.9 the next morning. Fast recovery? Maybe Wee Jie's panadol works. I want to be excuse from vehicle washing! It just wet my clothes and thus led to me catching the cold. It made me so scared that I would be infected by H1N1, since in this week, more than half of STW have gotten attend C. I heard that they were thinking of closing down this week but due to some circumstances, the decision was negative.

Finally I have cleared my SOC last Friday! A new record timing of 8minutes 02seconds for myself. This was the 1st time I actually run seriously as during training I would jog damn slowly in the 1st 700m rundown. I was just aiming for below 8.32 since it was my previous fastest timing but until when I almost reach the end point and my stopwatch timed 7.54, I wanted to sprint for below 8minutes. Apparently my legs almost gave way, I couldn't increase my speed and eventually collapsed just after passing the finishing line. Encik even scolded me for not being able to run below 8minutes. Crazy. Though I was quite confident of passing my test, I was only able to obtain a sub-9 timing once before that test. Moreover, my trial test last Wednesday got myself a 9.45. Encik even betted with someone that I would be able to run below 8 and now he has lost of course. Anyway, I was happy with my results but at the same time worried about my body condition.

My knees hurt like mad now and I have another medical condition I found out last Friday. Bleeding in stool just before my SOC test. I have some medicine to reduce the pus in my rectum.

Many things happened last Friday. Dad's, Mum's, Sis's, Benjamin's birthday. SOC test. Pus in stool. Progress of my nightblindness referral letter. Slackest day in camp with admin time all the way after the morning SOC test.

Yesterday was my 1st live firing on vehicle. Woke up at 0345 and reached camp today morning at 0400. Damn tired but I need to treasure my bookout by not sleeping! Anyway BMR is a freaking waste of time.

Today is a freaking day for me. Told that my medical referral letter that I had waited for 6weeks was actually sent to the wrong medical centre and they didn't know about it, so I had to wait for ANOTHER week to get an appointment date. My SOC was even worse. Even though I passed with 9.13, I was butt smashed in my left cheek by someone in front of me after the low ramp. I sweared damn loudly that I think the enciks also heard me. Never mind that. We finished our programme today at around 1pm but we were told that we could only book out at 5pm. 4hours of book out timing is so PRECIOUS if you don't know. MANY THINGS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THAT 4 HOURS!! Anyway I'm home now, treasuring the momments here since I would have to book out and book in on the next 2 Sundays due to the Live Firing session.

Can't help recalling what happened last year today.
